“Husband ko rito si Sam but something will happen to our marriage so I will have an affair with Jericho Rosales,” she says. “Echo is really my first boyfriend, bago ko pa nakilala si Sam, but my parents were against him kasi he belongs to a lower social status kaya nag-break kami. Then we’ll meet again years later at a time na pareho kaming nagkakaproblema with our respective marriages and our love affair will be rekindled.”
She has shot a bedscene with Sam and she says it’s very memorable. “Very passionate, mapusok talaga. This is the sexiest role I’ve done so far. Alalay si Sam pero parang sobrang totoo yung eksena kasi feeling ko, konti na lang, kakainin na niya ang buong lips ko!”
Won’t they have any trouble with the MTRCB? It’s director Cathy Camarillo who answers: “We made sure we followed naman the guidelines set by the MTRCB. But siempre, to make it look more exciting, we have to push the envelope and try to come close sa edge of the limits ng guidelines para naman it’s not just another love scene na napanood nyo na before. And we do it with the approval of the actors kasi we explain everything to them before we do the take.”Yen adds that her character’s situation is also fully explained in the script. “My character, Jacky, is someone hungry for love. Neglected siya ng sariling family niya and her husband, si Sam nga, hindi siya masyadong binibigyan ng attention but she tries to be strong. Marami siyang pinagdaraanan until she meets again yung ex niya na si Jericho nga.”
