BIANCA UMALI and Miguel Tanfelix want to thank all the fans of their love team who followed their primetime drama, “Kambal, Karibal”, for nine months and where they played the lead roles of Crisanta and Diego.
“When we started airing in November last year, we’re told one season lang kami, which is three months,” says Bianca. “Pero dahil nagustuhan ng viewers ang kuwento ng mga kaluluwang naglilipatan ng katawan, heto, inabot kami ng siyam na buwan, so salamat talaga sa lahat.”
“Big learning experience sa amin ni Bianca doing this show as we get to work with great actors like Christopher de Leon, Carmina Villaroel, Jean Garcia, Alfred Vargas, Gloria Romero and Marvin Agustin, from whom we learned a lot,” adds Marvin.
The series no doubt helped a lot in boosting the careers of newcomers Kyline Alcantara and Pauline Mendoza in their pivotal roles as Cheska and Criselda who now have loyal fans in their own right.
“Malaki talaga ang naitulong ng show na ito para mas makilala ako ng tao,” says Kyline, who moved from ABS-CBN to GMA-7 for this show. “Mami-miss ko lahat ng mga kasama namin sa cast kasi naging parang one big family kami while doing it for the past nine months. It was really a great experience for me.”
“Yes, very memorable talaga for me doing this show,” adds Pauline. “I gained a lot of new friends not only sa co-stars namin but also from the production staff. Mami-miss ko lahat ng magandang bonding namin sa taping. And my role as the ghost, tumatak talaga sa tao dahil Criselda talaga ang tawag nila sa’kin when they see me in public.”
Of course, there were intriguing stories that the young stars didn’t really get well on the set as some felt insecure over the others, but this is now all water under the bridge. What they urge the public to do is to watch the last few episodes as it’s full of surprises. “Marami talagang pasabog kaya panoorin nila,” adds Bianca. “It will be a truly thrilling and satisfying ending for the show.”
