Jameson Blake Has Learned His Lessons After Some Sad Experiences, Happy To Support Sue Ramirez' Launching Film, 'Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa Wifi'

JAMESON BLAKE is proud to be Sue Ramirez’ leading man in the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino entry, “Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi”, that starts showing this Wednesday. “Sue is a good friend and I’m happy that she plays the title role in this movie that serves as her solo launch,” he says.

“Magkapatid kami rito ni Markus Paterson at ang parents namin are Candy Pangilinan and Lee O’Brian. Si Markus ang talagang boyfriend rito ni Sue, but dahil sa allergy niya sa electromagnetic waves, she was forced to live with her lola, Boots Anson Roa, in a distant province, kunsaan walang WiFi at radiowaves. Dahil doon, she’ll lose touch with Markus at ako naman ang magiging friend niya through handwritten letters at hindi text-text lang.”

Jameson has been controversial lately. First was when their director, Jun Lana, complained that his handler is always making demands during shooting to finish all his scenes early because Jameson still has other “rakets”. During the presscon, Jun Lana made it clear that he has no personal complaints against Jameson since he acts well. His gripe is against those handling his careers and making unnecessary demands that might affect the quality of Jameson’s work in the movie.

After this, some folks bashed him for asking for free artwork from graphic artist for which his
compensation is that he’ll give them a shoutout from his social media accounts. How did he feel about it?

“I’m okay now,” he says. “But I was really affected by it and I didn’t do social media for a week. The only thing I can do is just keep silent and let it die out. I was feeling down so hindi ako lumalabas ng condo ko. I just want to make it clear that I don’t have any intention of downgrading anyone. I was just asking for a favor, so maybe they found it offensive. But if they would just analyze it clearly, wala naman akong bad intention sa tweet ko. But it gave me a lesson and I’m now more careful with what I post on social media. Nakakatawa nga kasi my character in ‘Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi’, hindi siya mahilig sa social media at all.”
