Epy is also in the cast of another movie, “Alimuom”, one of the six entries in the ToFarm Filmfest that starts showing in theaters today. It’s a futuristic film directed by Keith Sicat and set at a time when the air and soil have become so toxic that people live under biodomes. He represents the government as the Minister of Agriculture and he co-stars with Ina Feleo, Mon Confiado, Dido de la Paz and Karl Medina. “Everything here is controlled by the government, pero may sekreto rito ang gobierrno na itinatago nila sa mga mamamayan,” he adds. “Kung ano yun, malalaman nyo when you watch the movie. I play a gray character, tipong bida-kontrabida.”

His late dad, Dolphy, is once again being considered as National Artist. How does he feel about it?
