Their wedding is scheduled to take place on December 17 at a private resort and events place. Fadi is Muslim and Lotlot is Catholic, so what they’ll have is a civil wedding. It’s her only son with Monching, Diego, who will take her to the altar and give her away to her groom.
Lotlot’s daughters Janine, Jessica and Maxine will be her maid of honor and bridesmaids. Attending the wedding is her three siblings from her biological American father. But her dad himself cannot come since he just had a surgery.
Lotlot is now busy taping for GMA-7’s new afternoon soap, “Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko”, that starts airing today, Monday, to replace “The Stepdaughters”.
“I play the role of Kris Bernal’s supportive mom,” she says. “Pinilit namin siya pakasal kay Jason Abalos without knowing na closet gay pala ito. Parents naman ni Jason rito sina Ricardo Cepeda and Jean Saburit at, later on, kami ang magkakaroon ng conflict, lalo na when Jason faked his own death at nagpaopera to become a transwoman played by Thea Tolentino.”How is it working with her prospective son in law, Rayver Cruz? “I’ve known Rayver since he was a small boy at Ate Lotlot na ang tawag niya sa’kin kahit noon pa. Mabait na bata and I welcome the chance of working with him now here in ‘Asawa Ko Karibal Ko’. I really don’t know kung sila na ng daughter kong si Janine (Gutierrez), sila na lang mismo ang tanungin nyo.”
