She was launched in 1999 in the Peque Gallaga movie, “Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero”, and did other films, but in 2004, she met chiropractor Dr. Robert Walcher and they got married in 2005. She gave up her showbiz career and settled in San Diego, California where they had two sons, Robert IV, now 11 years old, and Ryan James or RJ, 7 years old, who are both good looking enough to also be in showbiz.
Four years ago, they moved to Manila. “Someone bought our business and our house in San Diego and suddenly, we felt so free we want to make a fresh new start so I told Rob to let’s try it in the Philippines,” says Patricia.

Rob also does acting on the side. He has appeared in “Everything About Her” with Vilma Santos and “First Love” as Aga Muhlach’s doctor. On TV, he played Andre Paras’ dad in “That’s My Amboy”. They’ll celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary next month. What are each other’s most endearing qualities that help keep their marriage working?

“What I love in her is her inner beauty,” says Rob. “She’s really beautiful inside and out. She’s not judgmental and always wants to help other people. We’re also both easy going and that helps a lot.”
Don’t they plan to have another baby? “Nakakatawa kasi we just had a vacation in Singapore and it’s our bunso who said, maybe we should have a new baby. Puede naman, kaya lang I’m the 2019 Mrs. Universe Philippines Finest Woman who’ll represent our country next year in Europe where 98 countries will compete. Alangan namang magpunta ako roon nang buntis ako. Sa bagay, puede rin, kasi mga misis na naman lahat ng kasali.”
