Now, Wendell is conscience-stricken over what they did and wants to confess their crime to the authorities. But Marco Alcaraz is against it because he fears it might ruin his reputation and career in public office. He’ll do everything for their crime to remain a secret, even engineering the tragic death of their friend Neil Ryan which he made it appear to be just an accident.
Wendell has now become closer to Onay who says that he reminds her of her late husband, Elvin, as played by Adrian Alandy. Viewers find their scenes together quite endearing. Mikee as Maila also finds Wendell to be a good person and becomes to closer to him without having an inkling of what their real relationship. Wendell is the father of Enrico Cuenca as Oliver, the guy she loves and this complication in the plot might later lead to a big conflict among the characters in the story.
Meantime, Kate Valdez as Natalie won’t take this sitting down and continues to spread nasty gossip about Maila to ruin her reputation. She doesn’t care even if they’re actually half sisters as they have the same mother, Onay. Mikee is really such an oppressed character in the show. Cherie Gil is so mean to her and has even slapped her countless of times. “Sumasakit na nga pisngi ko sa kasasampal nila sa’kin,” says Mikee. “Hindi kasi daya ang mga sampal nila, e. But okay lang, it’s all part of our job as actors and I’m willing to do it again basta sa ikagaganda ng show.”
No wonder the series continues to rate well and has been extended up to January, 2019.
