In her Christmas message, Mother Lily says: “In the past decades that Regal has proviced joy and entertainment to the Filipino viewers, we have always considered ourselves as part of each and every family. This is the season of sharing and reminding ourselves of the importance of gratitude, let us re-examine ourselves as part of one big family of film artists, technicians – or simply lovers of cinema. Let us be grateful for our blessings – and not give emphasis on things that we do not have or still desire. Instead, focus on what has been given to us not in terms of material possessions but the friendship and love we share with one another. Times are confusing these days. People are divided and many people are angry. But as long as we are together and strive to work for better yesars to come, the Regal family will move on and continue to flourish. That’s why I’m proud to be everyone’s Mother and I wish you, all my children, to have a peaceful and love-filled Christmas and New Year.”
Mother Lily is optimistic that their entry this holiday season, “One Great Love” starring Kim Chiu, Dennis Trillo and JC de Vera, will be a true crowd pleaser as it’s a beautiful love story that touches the heart. “After doing mostly horror movies for Christmas like ‘Shake Rattle & Roll’, this one is heartwarming story of love well acted by the entire cast and competently directed by Eric Quizon so be sure not to miss it when it opens in theaters on Christmas Day.”
