She’s specially effective in that scene where she goes to Helena’s house and screamed: “Isinusumpa ko! Babawiin ko ang anak ko sa ‘yo!” She’s referring to Kate Valdez who plays her long lost daughter Natalie.
“I can relate sa role ko kasi, kahit sa tunay na buhay, ang tawag sa’kin ng mga tao, small but terrible,” says Jo. “Kasi kahit maliit lang ako, wala akong inuurungang laban basta alam kong nasa tamang lugar ako. Ganundin naman si Onay, hindi rin magpapaapi kahit kanino. Handa kaming makipaglaban sa buhay alang-alang sa aming mga minamahal.”
Meantime, now that she knows the truth that Kate as Natalie is her missing daughter who Cherie as Helena stole from her, she will do everything to get Kate back. The problem now is whether Kate will accept her wholeheartedly as her mom.
