Ice Seguerra Not Preggy, Happy To Be Part Of The Big Concert, 'Playlist: The Best Of OPM', At Araneta Coliseum On March 1

ICE SEGUERRA laughs off the rumor that she’s pregnant. “Mataba lang ako, pero hindi po ako buntis,” she clarifies.

The rumor spread after she was seen in a hospital, but the procedure done on her involves harvesting eggs from her ovaries. They will then get a sperm donor to inseminate it so she and wife Liza Dino Seguerra can have their own child. Ice got bashed after she said she wants a foreign sperm donor to father their baby. She explained that it’s better this way. “Kasi kung Pinoy ang donor, baka later on, maghabol pa ito,” she says.

Some folks defended her decision: “Wala tayong karapatang husgahan ang decision nila dahil sariling buhay nila yan. Andaming ampalaya ha. Bitter sa negative reactions nila. Why don’t we just be happy for them? Respetuhin na lang natin sila at wala naman silang pineperwisyong ibang tao.”

Ice is very happy to be part of Viva Live’s newest gig, “Playlist: The Best of OPM”, which will bring together for the first time the top soloists of the biggest band plus top solo stars in Philippine Pop music history on Friday, March 1, at the Araneta Coliseum. Joey Generoso is best known for hits like “Forevermore” and “So Many Questions”, Jinky Vidal for “Before I Let You Go” and “So Slow”, Jay Durias (who’ll also do the musical arrangements for the show) for “Rainbow” and “Kahit Kailan”, Medwin Marfil for “Muntik Nang Maabot ang Langit”, “Perfect”, “Huwag na Lang Kaya”; Ice Seguerra for “Pagdating ng Panahon” and “Para Lang Sa’Yo”, Juris Fernandez for “A Love to Last a Lifetime” and “I’ll Be There for You”. Janine Tenoso is best known for the big hit “Di Na Muli”. 

This is really the first time that all of them are gathered in one big concert like “Playlist: The Best of OPM”, something you can’t do during they heydays of band music in the 80s and the 90s.
