Kyline is now one of the busiest Kapuso stars. Aside from taping “Inagaw na Bituin” three times a week, she is in two shows on Sunday, “Sunday PinaSaya” at lunchtime and “Studio 7” in the evening. But she’s not complaining.
“I actually love being busy,” she says. “Magko-complain pa ba ako samantalang yung iba, walang trabaho? I’m just thankful for all the blessings that come into my life right now.”
In the story, Kyline as Anna is the only child of Sunshine Dizon as Belinda and Marvin Agustin as Edward. But she is kidnapped and grows up under the care of a foster mom, Angelu de Leon as Aurora, who gives her the new name of Elsa.“I can really identify with my role as an aspiring singer kasi pinagdaanan ko rin yan before GMA-7 gave me a good break with ‘Kambal Karibal’ and now, this show. Like Anna/Elsa, gusto ko ring matulungan ang mga taong mahal ko sa buhay and make them proud of me.”
Therese also enjoys her role as Ariela. “I start here as a kind girl but my mom, Angelika de la Cruz as Lucinda, brainwashed me and turned me into a mean girl para kalabanin si Kyline. I become a spoiled brat who manipulates people to get what she wants. I’ll do whatever it takes just to reach to the top, even if I have to step on other people’s toes. I can identify with my character’s ambition and passion to pursue her dreams, pero hindi ako maka-identify sa pagiging ruthless niya in using other people just to be achieve success.”
“Inagaw na Bituin” is now enjoying high ratings in GMA-7’s Afternoon Prime, much more than management’s expectations. It’s an acting duel not only for Kyline and Therese but also for the more senior stars Sunshine, Angelika and Angelu.
