Kyline’s career really got a big boost when she moved to GMA-7 and played the contravida role in “Kambal Karibal”. It even won her the best supporting actress award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards which allowed her to walk on the red carpet in the awards night held in Singapore.
But of course, with popularity comes intrigues and she felt hurt when fans of the BiGuel love team accused her then of stealing Miguel Tanfelix from his ka-love team, Bianca Umali. She admits crying over the false accusations and she was eventually vindicated because it’s Bianca who got linked to Ruru Madrid.“Masakit mapagbintangang nang-ahas daw ako, but okay naman kami ni Bianca and we even guested together sa isang episode ng ‘Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko’,” she says. “So all that is now water under the bridge. I’m just very happy sa takbo ng career ko ngayon at sa very warm reception ng viewers sa ‘Inagaw na Bituin’.”
She’s now being linked to her leading man in the show, Manolo Pedrosa, but she says it’s too premature to jump into any conclusion. “Even as co-stars, we’re still on that stage of getting to know each other,” she says. “Pero okay kami sa set kasi masaya siyang katrabaho.”
