BIANCA UMALI and Miguel Tanfelix admit they have mixed feelings about their primetime show, “Sahaya”, being moved to an earlier time slot. It is now aired right after “24 Oras”, directly up against “Ang Probinsyano”.
“Siempre, kinakabahan po kami,” says Bianca. “Ang laki at ang lakas ng babanggain namin. Happy na sana kami sa dati naming time slot kasi doon na kami nakasanayang panoorin ng viewers namin at mataas ang rating ng show namin doon.”
“But we’re also thankful to GMA-7 sa malaking tiwala nila sa love team namin, na puede kaming panlaban sa isang more established show,” says Miguel. “Hopefully, lahat ng nanonood sa dati naming timeslot, sumunod dito sa bago naming schedule at sana, madagdagan pa ang mga regular viewers ng aming show, lalo ngayong painit nang painit ang development in ‘Sahaya’.”
The show’s last episode is really exciting. Migo Adecer as Jordan got involved in an accident because Miguel Tanfelix as Ahmad told Eric Quizon as Hubert, Jordan’s father, about Jordan and Sahaya. Miguel did this out of jealousy but he is now remorseful and helps Migo get out of the hospital. This shows that Miguel really loves Bianca and is willing to make a sacrifice to give way to Migo.
That confrontation scene between Bianca and Miguel where Miguel admits his intense feelings of jealousy is really a winner. what with Miguel’s very persuasive acting as the spurned lover especially when he said: “Nadudurog ako sa tuwing nakikita ko kayong masaya ni Jordan. Hindi ko kayang mawala ka sa akin.”
