WE ASK THE other cast members of “The General’s Daughter” what are their most memorable scenes or experiences while doing the show. “Ako, yung eksenang tumalon kami ni Angel from a cliff at bumagsak kami sa tubig,” says Paulo Avelino, who plays Franco, Angel’s leading man. “Muntik na akong malunod kasi pagod ako at puyat sa magdamagang taping. Tapos, naka-maong pants ako, naka-jacket, naka-boots so ang hirap lumangoy. I will never do it again.”
“Ako naman, yung scene when Arjo Atayde’s dad died,” says JC de Vera, who plays Ethan. “Na-out of character ako kasi dapat, hindi ako iiyak. E, nadala ako sa husay ni Arjo kaya napaiyak din ako. With Angel, my most memorable scene is when we met again and I left her go kahit wanted siya kasi I realized mahal ko pa rin siya.”
“One scene na tumatak sa audience,” says Tirso Cruz III who plays main villain Tiago, “is when Janice de Belen as Amelia is looking for Angel as Rhian at ginawa kong comedy na hinahanap ko siya kunwari sa ilalim ng upuan. Nag-trending yun at lahat, nagtatanon, nasaan si Rhian.”
“Yung memorable scene for me, kinunan lang namin at hindi pa napapanood,” says Albert Martinez, who plays Marcial, Angel’s dad. “It will be shown dito sa finale week. It was the hardest fight scene I did in my life kasi maghapon kaming nakikipaglaban ni Paulo Avelino sa mga kaaway namin sa sequence na yon. Abangan nyo.”
“My most memorable scenes are with Arjo Atayde,” says Maricel Soriano who plays Nanay Sabel. “Arjo as Elai is my son and agad akong nakakapasok sa character ko at sa eksena as I really care for him as my son. Sa eksenang kinidnap siya at isinakay sa van, humabol ako. Dapat, hindi ko aabutan yung van, e naabutan ko. Nang makakapasok na ako, biglang may nagsara noong pinto at tinamaan ako sa braso. Grabe, ang laki ng pasa ko!”
