MIKEE QUINTOS is thrilled to be one of Alden Richard’s leading ladies in “The Gift” that now airs on GMA Telebabad right after “Beautiful Justice”. “I play Amor, kasamahan niyang fruit vendor sa palengke,” she says. It’s so nice to work with Alden kasi despite all the big success that he is getting, he remains so humble and easy to get along with.”
Some writers say she might later on turn out to be Alden’s real love interest. “Well, hindi po natin masasabi. Kasi depende po yan sa magiging reaction at feedback ng audience sa story ng ‘The Gift’,” she says. “But as it is, andami na ngang namba-bash sa akin. I won’t let myself be affected by haters and bashers, kasi lagi namang nandiyan ang family ko as my support system.”
She’s happy that some fans oppose her bashers. “Nakakatuwa po kasi marami rin namang fans na nagre-remind sa’kin na they appreciate my work so mas nananalo yun at mas napapasaya nila ako kaysa roon sa mga namba-bash.”
Is she aware that some folks are even questioning her sexual orientation?
Maybe it’s because the last time she had a boyfriend was in Louie Pedroso, a singer who’s part of Top One Project two years ago? “I’m actually going out on dates with someone now, pero non-showbiz, so let us allow him to keep his privacy. I also don’t need to post my date sa social media para makitang masaya kami.
Despite her hectic showbiz schedule, Mikee continues her college studies at UST, where she’s taking up architecture.
