ROBIN PADILLA looks like he’s ready to burn all his bridges with ABS-CBN. He’s quite combative in his posts against the Kapamilya network regarding its franchise renewal issue. He’s up against its executives who he got to work with before because he also criticized what he thinks are deplorable working conditions at ABS-CBN.
This started when he shared his opinion about the possible closure of ABS-CBN. Robin, a well known Duterte supporter wrote: “No man is above the law and no man is below it.
He was bashed because of this as everyone knows ABS-CBN has given him so many projects before.
Ako ay may tiwala sa BATAS dahil naranasan ko ang talim at lambing ng BATAS sa buhay ko, kaya ko sinasabi na dapat umiral ang BATAS, dahil ang batas ang proteksyon ng lahat ng Pilipino mayaman man o mahirap. no one is above the law and under it kaya kung wala silang kasalanan, it will be their glory and pride so let them fight it in our courts.”
ABS-CBN business unit head answered Robin and reminded him of all his relatives working with them, including his wife Mariel Rodriguez, brother Rommel Padilla, nephew Daniel Padilla, son in law Aljur Abrenica and asked him why he didn’t immediately call their attention if he saw something wrong with the way the network operates.
She adds: "Angel Locsin best said it, 'think before you click'. You cannot post something, then blame it on being the ex-convict in you that overtook your emotions Mr. Robin Padilla. Its either pinanindigan mo ang misplaced emotions mo or never post at all.
Napakalaki ng per taping day sahod mo. Sino presidente nun? Ahhh. Okay. Noted."
Some folks sided with ABS-CBN and chided Robin: “Kamag-anak Corp., don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”
Robin is sounding like a loose cannon as he even included Coco Martin in his tirades, saying: “Sabihin nyo po kay Direk Coco na ‘wag bubuhusan ng tubig ‘yung mga crew na nakakatulog sa pagod at huwag papatol sa location manager na babae.”
An ABS-CBN insider says “May ax to grind kasi siya kay Coco dahil natabunan ng Probinsyano ni Coco ang pagiging action star niya. Antawag nga nila diyan, si Pandak.”
From the looks of it, this will not end anytime soon. But one thing is clear, now that Robin has put all his cards on the table, obviously in favor of Duterte, definitely, ABS-CBN will not get him again. Let’s see if GMA-7 would be ready to open its doors for him.
