YORME ISKO MORENO agreed to have the Belo Thermage FLX procedure done on him by no less than the CEO herself of Belo Medical Group, Dr. Vicki Belo.
He was officially presented in a special press launch at Rizal Park Hotel where her husband Hayden Kho, daughtrer Crystalle and good friend Jinkee Pacquiao also attended.
“I said yes because she promised there’ll be no injections,” he says. “That it will be quick and we will se immediate results. And in all fairness to her, she delivered what she promised. It’s very important to a client like me who’s very busy. I feel good about myself and I want you to feel good about yourself also.”
The popular Manila mayor admits that he’s scared of injections and also shy about going to a beauty clinic. He now openly encourages busy men like him who don’t have time for themselves to try the Belo Thermage FLX.
“Gravity will win as you age. I can honestly say to my colleagues and to guys in my age bracket, it’s time. It’s time to take Thermage. This is for us,” he adds.
Dr. Belo said the Thermage FLX is really perfect for men on-the-go like Mayor Isko because it only takes 35 minutes, has immediate results, and delivers a long-term effect. So men can just visit the Belo clinic at least once a year and get back to their busy schedules the rest of the year while looking their very best.
Dr. Belo explained to members of the media the improvements on Mayor Isko’s face after doing the Thermage FLX. She said Yorme used to have deeper lines that have now become shallow. When she pinched his skin, there’s less to pinch now than before. Also, Mayor Isko’s jawline has become more prominent and his eyes more wide open.
“I didn’t want everything in me ro be fixed. I just want a refreshed look and I got what I wanted. I feel good about it. Tumaas ang kumpyansa ako”, the Mayor says.
Dr. Belo said the partnership with Mayor Isko Moreno came about because the Manila Mayor is also passionate in showing the whole world that the Philippines is world class.
“I know we’re third world but we are first class in beauty and dermatology. So when I meet a person who has that same love and who wants to taas the bandilang Pilipino, I feel it in my bones and that’s what I felt with Mayor Isko.
"Put it together somehow, love for Philippines, Belo Medical Group being around 30 years trying to make a dent in the world, trying to make the country a beauty destination, parang I feel a kinship,” Dr. Belo says.
The Manila Mayor added that he believes the Philippines can be globally competitive, we have the same technology and training, institutions like the Belo Medical Group are proof that Filipinos are world class and first class.
The press launch ended with an announcement from Dr. Belo that the Belo Medical Group is donating P500,000 pesos to the Philippine Red Cross to help with relief efforts for the victims of the Taal eruption.
“Because we all want to help... this is not going to be a superficial presscon. But rather it’s also a way that... together we can help and we will continue to help you. We are all here,” Dr. Belo said.
The press launch was held at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila as suggested by Mayor Isko. The good mayor wanted people to know there’s a lot of beautiful destinations in Manila that are worth visiting.
