ROCCO NACINO has also put up his own youtube channel and one of his first offerings is an exclusive personal tour of his new house in Antipolo.
He posted the footage on his birthday last March 21 and his fans applauded him for the beautiful achievement from his years of hard work as a Kapuso actor.
“Galing talaga yan sa pagod at pawis ko sa ten years ng pagtatrabaho ko sa GMA,” he says. “The house is the best birthday gift I ever gave to myself at ito namang vlog ko is my gift to my fans who have been supporting me loyally all these years.
"To share my home, I'll do a mini tour ng bahay ko, so sila ang unang makakapanood nung very HGTV-like tour ng house ko, kasi hindi pa ko nagpapasok ng kahit sino diyan sa house ko.
"Bukod diyan, I will share some details ng experiences ko in building my own dream house and I’m sure marami silang makukuhang insights that they can use kung may balak din silang magpa-construct din ng sarili nilang bahay.”
Does this mean he and his athlete girlfriend, Melissa Gohing, will soon be walking down the aisle now that he has his own home nest to settle down in after their wedding?
“No, ang laki ng gastos sa house, so wala pa kong budget for a wedding,” Rocco replies with a laugh. “That will have to wait at pareho naman kaming hindi pa nagmamadali, e.”
Rocco’s current soap, “Descendants of the Sun” or DOTS, has now ran out of new episodes to show because of the corona lockdown, so he is currently resting from work, along with other cast members.
Its last episode showed the devastating earthquake scene that happened in Urdan which put the lives of the residents there in danger, along with the military and medical teams stationed there led by Dingdong Dantes as Capt. Lucas Manalo or Big Boss and Jennylyn Mercado as Dr. Maxine de la Cruz or Beauty.
In a recent instagram post, Rocco as Sgt. Diego Ramos shared behind the scenes footage of how the very convincing earthquake scene was shot. The entire production team of “Descendants of the Sun” gave a helping hand to make sure that the execution of the quake sequence will be very persuasive when it comes out on screen.
“Si Jasmine Curtis Smith as Capt. Moira Defensor and pangunahing involved sa eksenang lumilindol,” narrates Rocco. “Ang galing niya in portraying yung panic and fear that gripped her habang yumayanig ang buong paligid. You would think na totoong-totoo ang nangyayaring earthquake around her.”
Currently replacing “Descendants of the Sun” on primetime is the replay of “Encantadia 2”.
All the cast member of DOTS offered a prayer for all our health workers and frontliners, including soldiers and cops who are actively involved in protecting the public during these trying times of the corona lockdown.
“Ipinagdasal namin silang lahat kasi sila’y mga tunay na bayani,” says Rocco. “Saludo kaming lahat sa kanilang dedication sa sinumpaan nilang tungkulin para sa kaligtasan ng publiko.
"Lahat ng tao, dapat mag-alay ng panalangin for their safety and good health nang hindi sila maapektuhan ng virus while performing their duties and functions.”
