ANDREA TORRES just laughs off rumors that she is already pregnant. Ever since she and Derek Ramsay admitted that they were going steady, every now and then, rumors that she’s already infanticipating crops up.
“Like I’ve always said before, I will never get pregnant outside of marriage,” she says. “I believe in the importance and sanctity of marriage, kaya puede lang ako magbuntis kapag kasal na ako.”
She adds that she and Derek have not seen each in person for a long time because of the lockdown.
“Ako, nasa bahay namin ng parents ko and he, he is in his own home. But we communicate with each other constantly through our phones and gadgets.
"May kasabihang absence makes the heart grow fonder at napatunayan naming totoo yun ngayong hindi kami nagkikita in person habang may lockdown. But nitong mag-GCQ, he was able to go out and visit me sa bahay namin noong May 31, so somehow, reunited kami.”
She even posted their photo together looking so happy with their reunion and this is the caption she wrote: “My little piece of heaven.” It will be recalled that they admitted going steady in September of last year, after the airing of their primetime show, “The Better Woman”.
Now, Andrea doesn’t hide the fact that she’s ready to get married. After all, she’s 30 while Derek is now 43 years old.
They’re both of the right age. But a netizen, who obviously wants to annoy them, says she doesn’t believe heir relationship will end in front of the altar as proven by Derek’s past relationships with many other actresses before that ended nowhere.
The heckler added that “he is more married to his toys”.
Andrea didn’t answer the basher anymore and just said she is looking forward to meeting Derek more frequently when they start taping their new show, “Sanggang Dikit”, for GMA-7.
Meantime, what can she say about the revelation of Megan Young that she once got jealous of Andrea when Mikael Daez, her “BF sa dilim” then (since they haven’t admitted their relationship in public, formed a love team with her and they did several soaps together?
Did she see the podcast where Megan made her confession?
“No, but Mikael mentioned it to me. Pero ang tagal na noon, e. And that time, I was also in a relationship at napapag-usapan pa nga namin ni Mikael si Megan. He said even then na sure na siyang Megan is the one for her.
"So water under the bridge na lang yan. As of now, friends kaming lahat at never naging issue yan. Nakatrabaho ko si Megan sa ‘Alayas Robin Hood’ in 2016 and we also quickly became comfortable with each other.”
