MARK HERRAS officially announced that he’s now engaged to Nicole Donesa. And at once, folks are asking us: sino ba si Nicole Donesa? Da who?
Mark was officially linked before to his Starstruck 1 co-winner Jennylyn Mercado, Inah Asistio and also to beauty queen-actress Winwyn Marquez, who are fairly familiar to the public.
He also sired a love child with his former GMA Artist handler. But the public is not that familiar at all as to who Nicole Donesa is.
Well, Nicole is a runner up to the 2014 Miss World pageant then she joined GMA-7 and was cast in a supporting role in the afternoon soap, “Bihag”, where Mark was one of the lead actors.
That’s where love bloomed between them. Nicole is now a member of the huge cast of “Descendants of the Sun” but taping is currently on hold due to the lockdown.
Mark posted in his social media account his photo with Nicole wearing the diamond engagement ring he gave her. And he wrote: “Ang mahalin at makasama ka habang buhay. I love you, itchybear! To infinity and beyondz.”
They admitted that they were on in August of last year. Asked if they plan to tie the knot, Mark said: “Soon, kasi I’m not getting any younger and turning 33 soon.”
Nicole, in turn, is asked if Mark is the one for her: “Yes, sigurado ako na gusto ko na talaga si Mark for my future.”
We wish them all the best. But honestly, now is not the best time to start a family, with the deadly virus hanging over our heads.
And let’s face it, Mark’s career is currently not doing well. Unlike his former ka-love team, Jennylyn Mercado, who remains an A-lister doing lead roles in both movies and TV shows, Mark has been relegated to playing character and even villain roles.
As his manager, Lolit Solis, wrote in her column: “Sana nga ay maging daan ito para magkaroon na ng focus at ambisyon si Mark. Sa showbiz kasi, hindi porke nabigyan ka na ng break ay doon na ito nag-uumpisa at hihinto.
"Dapat din, as the years go by, patuloy mong pag-aralang mabuti kung paano madadagdagan ang talent mo, paano mo patuloy na sisikaping lalong pagandahin ang physical appearance mo kaya physically ay dapat mong alagaan ang katawan mo.
"Sana ay mas naging focused at konting ambitious ka para hindi napag-iwanan.”
As of now, Mark can be seen only in his TikTok dance video doing covers of various songs that go trending. This has registered 1 million hits. No doubt he’s really a good dancer and merits the title of being “Bad Boy of the Dance Floor”.
But we honestly believe that his Tiktok dance moves would NOT be enough to sustain his career.
