POKWANG was teary eyed as a special guest in the Bawal Judgmental portion of “Eat Bulaga” last Saturday. We all know she’s a Kapamilya talent. Vic Sotto was just asking her how her life has been since the quarantine started when she tore up.
“Naiiyak ako, huwag gan’on,” she said, taking a pause before she continued after taking a deep breath to contain herself. “Bossing, thank you po sa lahat.
"Na-realize ko, after three months, ngayon ko lang naramdaman na ang sarap pala mag-shave ng kili-kili at maggupit ng buhok sa ilong. Ang saya-saya ko, Bossing, kasi kundi pa ako nag-guest dito, hindi pa ako magse-shave, e.”
Then she showed off her armpit. “Alam mo naman, Bossing, yan ang pinakamaganda sa akin.”
She revealed that she was scheduled to guest in “Eat Bulaga” last year yet when she did the Metro Filmfest entry “Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity” with Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza and Jose Manalo. But she was so busy that time and didn’t have the chance to squeeze in doing Bawal Judgmental.
But now, because of the pandemic lockdown, she’s been idle for three months and have really missed working. There were some perennial haters who bashed her, but she just ignored them as the reaction of netizens to her guesting in “Eat Bulaga” was generally very positive.
Many folks said they hope this will be the start of the exchange of stars between the two top networks, with Kapamilya stars regularly guesting in Kapuso shows, and vice versa.
It looks, though, that such won’t be the case as we heard Pokwang’s contract with ABS-CBN has been recalled because she appeared in their rival network.
