ALDEN RICHARDS starred in the biggest box office hit film last year, “Hello, Love, Goodbye”. He’s supposed to do a followup movie on that also to be shot abroad, but it’s been shelved due to the pandemic.
A lot of people are suggesting that he be paired with this and that actress, like Bea Alonzo, with whom he did a shampoo endorsement and people like their on screen chemistry.
“I really pray that we can do some other project other than just the TV commercial we did,” he says at his launch as new Cosmo Cee endorser. “Sana nga po, matapos na ang pandemic na ito para makapag-shooting na uli ng isang bagong pelikula.”
Some quarters are suggesting that he be paired with Nadine Lustre but, of course, Alden fans are against this since Nadine’s last two movies, “Ulan” and “Indak”, both didn’t do well at the box office.
“Baka hilahin pa niya si Aldeng pababae,” says Alden’s defenders.
Honestly, we feel that after Kathryn Bernardo, it would be best to pair Alden with Liza Soberano. They look like they have excellent chemistry together since they’re both wholesome and good looking.
Take note that no one makes a suggestion to pair Alden with any co-Kapuso actress in a movie. How about Maine Mendoza, who’s his original “Eat Bulaga” ka-love team?
“Okay naman kami ni Maine,” Alden replies. “Nagkakasama kami hosting ‘Bawal Judgmental’ in ‘Eat Bulaga’ and masaya kami.
"We’re much more comfortable with each other now. Yes, I’d like to work with her again in a movie kung may magandang material, but then, malabo siguro sa ngayon due to the pandemic.”
Alden feels blessed that despite the lockdown, he continues to be busy with work while others are currently idle.
He is seen daily in “Eat Bulaga”, “All Out Sundays” and in the rewind of his soap, “One True Love”, which is surprisingly rating very well even if it’s a replay. And there’s also his exposure in his various endorsements.
“Pero siempre, hindi nawawala yung anxiety ko dahil sa pandemic,” he says. “Everytime I go out to work, I make sure I’m well protected kasi ayokong ako ang maging carrier ng virus at maiuwi ko pa yun sa bahay namin. Ayokong mahawa ang pamilya ko because of me, lalo na yung elderly grandparents ko.”
He’s happy to endorse Cosmo Cee with Bioflavonoids as a first line of defense against infection.
“Pinalalakas kasi nito ang resistencia at immunity ng katawan natin to make sure hindi tayo basta tatablan ng anumang sakit,” he says. “Malaking tulong ito sa’kin with my busy lifestyle as it helps fortify my body and sustain my energy levels.”

“With Alden as our endorser,” says Red, “we will help educate the consumers on how to strengthen one’s immunity and fight diseases to ward of virus and bacteria through Cosmo Cee.”
Alden hopes that Cosmo Cee will be just the start of his long and fruitful partnership with Red and Nino.
“Meantime, habang may pandemic, I urge everyone to say healthy,” says Alden. “If you’re not doing anything really important sa labas ng bahay nyo, it’s better and much safer to just stay at home to avoid the virus.”
