JANELLA SALVADOR is said to be pregnant at 22. She’s now in England where the dad of her baby, Markus Paterson, hails from.
She has yet to confirm it but it’s easy to conclude the veracity of her condition because even her manager, Manny Valera, won’t answer the queries of writers who want to get his side and ask him about it.
If she weren’t pregnant, it would be so easy for Mannny to say “No, she’s not.” But as they say, silence means consent.
So she’s most probably preggers and is said to be delivering her baby by next month.
Her mom, Jenine Desiderio, has already flown to England to be with her when the stork comes to visit her.
Too bad for Janella because she has just recovered from that Elmo Magalona brouhaha where she’s reported to be a battered girlfriend.
She was able to bounce back when ABS-CBN gave her a hit soap, “Killer Bride”, where she was paired with Joshua Garcia and their love team clicked with the fans.
But rumors linking them were quickly killed by reports that it’s actually Markus who she’s dating regularly. They never admitted it. But now, they’re having a baby.
Some of her fans are now bashing Markus for ruining Janella’s career. Markus was born in England and was a football player when he joined the all male group contest, Boyband Ph, four years ago.
He didn’t win but he branched out into acting, did several episodes of “MKK” and played supporting roles in soaps like “Luna Sangre” and “Sana Dalawa ang Puso Ko”, and movies like “Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi” and “Dead Kids”.
We’re sure they are not going to get married yet as it’s foolish to tie the knot just because someone got pregnant.
They’re so young, they can still change their minds after some significant realizations in the future.
But will Janella and Markus eventually be able to continue their showbiz careers after having a baby? Why not? Fans now are so forgiving and they don’t mind even if the stars they idolize are unwed parents.
