MICHAEL V is back to work after his bout with the dread virus. His show, “Pepito Manaloto”, in which he is not only the title-roler but also the concept creator and creative director, will be back on the air with a very special comeback episode this Saturday.
“It’s out way of thanking our loyal fans and followers for their unwavering support through the years,” he says.
“The cast and I are all very excited! We have a lot of quarantine stories we would love to share with our audience. This Saturday’s episode is a good way to start the ‘new normal’ for our show.”
The multi-awarded comedian explains how new and different the experience was for all of them.
“Shooting from home is a VERY different experience. There’s a lot of discipline involved. You gain a new appreciation for the crew during times like these.”
As a survivor of COVID-19, Bitoy will open up about what he went through during his self-quarantine period so that the audience may find hope and inspiration amid these trying times.
The episode will also feature an amusing “kamustahan” segment where the cast members will showcase the skills and talents they have learned during quarantine; “Pipito Para Manalo,” an intriguing mystery object game; and “Bring It Tommy”, a new spin on a classic game.
Together with Michael V. are co-stars Manilyn Reynes, John Feir, Maureen Larrazabal, Arthur Solinap, Mosang, Mikoy Morales, Janna Dominguez, and Ronnie Henares.
Bitoy promises that they will amp up the fun and deliver the same flavor of comedy that Kapuso viewers have learned to love and appreciate in the series.
“Makaka-asa ang mga Kapuso natin na hindi mawawala ang signature Pepito humor sa upcoming episodes. Maaaring iba na ang ulam, pero the usual kanin pa rin ang katapat.”
Prepare to laugh out loud and don’t miss “Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kuwento,” this Saturday, after ‘24 Oras Weekend’ on GMA-7.
