MARIAN RIVERA’s fans who’ve been missing her would be pleased to know that GMA-7 is replaying one of her biggest hit soaps, “Temptation of Wife”.
This time, it will be shown in the morning before “Eat Bulaga” starting Monday, October 5.
“‘Temptation of Wife’ is one of the most memorable dramas I’ve done,” says Marian. “I played a very challenging role as Angeline, an oppressed and submissive wife na pinatay ng husband niya't best friend.
"But she survives and is transformed to a cunning, feisty and reformed woman to avenge herself against her tormentors. Andami kong magandang heavy dramatic scenes dito so ako mismo, gusto kong mapanood uli ito.”
Playing the role of Angeline’s irresponsible and unfaithful husband, Marcel Salcedo, is Drama King Dennis Trillo. Meanwhile, award-winning actress Glaiza de Castro portrays the equally popular character of Angeline’s ruthless best friend, Heidi Fernandez.
Playing the role of Angeline's warm and caring friend, Nigel Armada, is talented actor Rafael Rosell who will help her as she plots her revenge against her cheating husband and best friend.
In the story, Marian as Angeline discovers that her husband Marcel is cheating on her with her best friend. Marcel and Heidi plot to kill Angeline and disguise her death as suicide. But by a twist of fate, Angeline survives.
She later comes back as a reformed and empowered woman to avenge herself and to discover what she really wants in the end.
“Temptation of Wife” is directed by Dominic Zapata and also stars Rio Locsin, Raymond Bagatsing, Michelle Madrigal, Antonio Aquitania, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Bettina Carlos, Rez Cortez, and Ms. Cherie Gil. Catch its rewind on October 5, Mondays to Saturdays, before “Eat Bulaga” on GMA-7.
