SUE RAMIREZ says it wasn’t hard for her to accept TV5’s offer to do “Oh My Dad”.
“Kasi after I read the script, nagandahan ako and I liked the project right away,” she says at the TV5 mediacon. “And let’s face it, we all need work and I’m happy na may trabaho kami ng lahat ng kasama ko rito.”
But it was a challenge taping during the pandemic.
“Siempre, we have to observe safety protocols. Ibang-iba ang sitwasyon sa set. Sa rehearsals, naka-mask kami lahat.
"You remove it na lang kapag take na and it’s a real challenge kasi sa rehearsal, hindi mo makita ang facial reactions ng kaeksena mo, but you learn to adapt naman, pati doon sa walang uwian hanggang sa matapos ang buong taping at dapat, walang magkakasakit habang nasa set.”
In “Oh My Dad”, she plays one of the three illegitimate kids of Ian Veneracion, who's paired with Dimples Romana. The other two kids of Ian are Louise Abuel and Adrian Lindayag, but they have different mothers.
This is under the direction of top director Jeffrey Jeturian. "Oh My Dad" starts airing on Saturday, October 24, at 5 PM. Also in the cast are Dimples Romana, Gloria Diaz and Ariel Ureta.
On the big screen, Sue has just finished the action-drama, "Kid Aplha One", opposite new action star Javi Benitez. It's common knowledge that romance developed between them while making the movie.
Javi proclaimed recently in his social media account: "I want to treat you like a queen!" To which Sue replied: "Thank you for everyday, Palangga! I love you so much!"
