COMEDIAN SUPER TEKLA has been vindicated. He was maligned by his former live in partner Michelle Banaag in the show of Raffy Tulfo for being a sexual predator and he was bashed by various quarters because of Michelle’s scandalous allegations.
What do you expect? Ordinary readers enjoy reading dirt like that and the media, both traditional and social, make sure they are given ample space to attract more readers who love feasting gleefully on such salacious stories.
Usually, such stories just die down quickly if the party being assaulted in media does not respond, just like what happened when Arnold Clavio decided to keep quiet while Sarah Balabagan was lambasting him for having a daughter with her, and Piolo Pascual after transgender BB Gandanghari announced to all and sundry that they became lovers while he was still Rustom Padilla.
But Super Tekla chose to answer back and as such, mas pinagpiyestahan sila ng ex-jowa niya.
But now, the tables have been turned as Raffy Tulfo himself has realized that Michelle is just using him. This is when Michelle refused to undergo a drug test to prove that she’s not an addict.
Raffy asked her in his “Wanted sa Radyo”: “Bakit umatras ka raw sa hamon mo kahapon na magpapa-drug test ka through your hair?”
Michelle replied: “Kasi pinagalitan po ako ng tita ko, baka mabinat daw po ako kaya huwag kong ipagalaw yung buhok ko.”
And Raffy says: “Mukhang sinunog mo ang sarili mo sa akin, a. Mabibinat ka? Eh, ang gagawin naman sa buhok mo, hindi yon bubunutin kundi guguntingin lang. Sinabi na yun sa iyo ng staff ko. Paano ka mabibinat doon, hindi naman yon hihilahin yung mga buhok mo?
"Parang nagpagupit ka lang. Hindi mo lang sinunog yung sarili mo sa akin kundi ang ginawa mo nag-dive ka sa isang dagat na umaapoy. Very clear na sa akin, this is now an indication to me na meron ka talagang itinatago, you’re lying to me.”
Michelle relented and said she can go on with the drug test but Tulfo has changed his attitude with her.
“Hindi na! Wala na! Kita mo ‘yan? Kasi, hamon ka nang hamon. Pinatulan ko yung hamon mo! Yung tulong ko sa’yong bayad para sa pustiso mo, sa renta nyo, at groceries sa anak mo, ipatatanggal ko na.
"Tatawagan namin ang DSWD at pupunta sila diyan sa bahay nyo. Gagawa ng assessment ang DSWD, at malalaman nila kung gumagamit ka pa rin, at ‘yang anak mo, ibibigay kay Tekla.”
Michelle started crying, but Tulfo is adamant. “No! No! Kahit umiyak ka ng dugo, wala na akong pakialam sa’yo kasi huling-huli ka na. Hindi mo na ako madadala sa iyakan.
"Pati anak mo, mawawala sa ‘yo dahil ipapa-transfer ko ‘yan kay Tekla. Kasi nakikita ko, mukhang hindi ka karapat-dapat mag-alaga ng bata sapagkat gumagamit ka pa rin. Why? Dahil takot kang magpa-drug test! Meaning, you’re still using.”
But the damage to Tekla has already been done. He was vilified by the public because of Michelle’s nasty allegations against him.
So may this be a warning to Raffy Tulfo to be more careful in entertaining complaints about showbiz people.
Janella Salvador made the right decision when she did not make patol to her former P.A. who made sumbong to Raffy. The case quickly died down and replaced by rumors that she is pregnant, which she never denied.
