VILMA SANTOS is celebrating her 67th birthday on November 3 and she is the special guest of writer Allan Diones in his online show “2WAD (Tonight With Allan Diones)” this Saturday night, October 31, at 9 PM.

Vilmanians have long been missing their idol since her last movie was still “Everything About Her” in 2016, for which she won several best actress awards. That was four years ago and her loyal fans now keep on asking as to when they will get to see her again on the big screen.
Ate Vi’s usual answer is she’d be willing to act again if she could get hold of a really good script with a role for her that is different from anything she's done before and truly challenging.
About doing a teleserye, this is definitely out of the question as taping, specially in the new normal, is very taxing and she is busy with her work as Batangas representative in the current congress.

As for her birthday wish for herself, she’s very vocal in saying she now wants to experience being a grandmother but her eldest son, Luis Manzano, who’s pushing 40, doesn’t seem to be in any rush to give her an apo anytime soon.
At the rate he’s going, though, we won’t be surprised if it’s Ate Vi’s bunso, Ryan Christian, who’d be the first one to give her a grandchild.
