LOLA AMOUR is a Filipino rock band from Muntinlupa that dabbles in the genres of modern rock, funk, and pop.
Lola Amour now revisits their debut album released under Warner Music Philippines titled "Don’t Look Back" which includes new song arrangements as well as a brand-new animated video of their single “Please Don’t Leave.”
Written by Lola Amour lead vocalist Pio Dumayas for his film thesis, “Please Don’t Leave” is originally a 40-track. The song is centered on a break-up, which every fan could easily relate to.
Known as one of the best live performers in the industry today, Lola Amour coped with the pandemic by strategizing and focusing on releasing online content and writing more songs to maintain their connection with their loyal fans.
The band’s revisited concept aims to do a stripped-down version of their EP as the lockdown gave them the time to work on a new concept – with time and budget restrictions, Lola Amour collaborated with friends in the production of the anime music video of “Please Don’t Leave.”
“We’ve decided to take a new direction towards engaging our online audiences and providing accessibility to our content across all platforms.
Right now, we’re exploring collaborations and more non-music content while still working hard on what really matters to us, which is writing music we can all enjoy,” says Pio.
