TWO SHOWBIZ couples are back in town after giving birth to their first borns abroad.
First is Anne Curtis and hubby Erwan Heussaff with their baby daughter, Dahlia.
Anne and Erwan flew to Melbourne, Australia last year for the baby to be born there and they got stuck and were not able to return home right away due to the pandemic.
They are now on hotel quarantine, and later, also home quarantine, before they can be allowed to resume working.
Several of their showbiz friends are happy to see them again and have greeted them, warmly welcoming them back home.
Then there’s Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson with their son Jude. Unlike Anne and Erwan who are legally married, Janella and Markus have yet to be blessed by the sacrament of marriage.
They first kept quiet about Janella’s infanticipation despite the very strong buzz about her condition.
But when Janella flew to England in September to be with Markus and his parents who are based there, the rumor got more intense.
She gave birth on October 20 and they eventually admitted her getting pregnant last January, more than two months after the baby has already been delivered.
Their journey going back home is properly chronicled in their social media accounts and they will undergo a longer quarantine period since they came from the United Kingdom, where there is a deadly new variant of the Covid virus.
The question now is which between Anne and Janella will be able to stage a successful comeback in showbiz.
No doubt it would be easier for Anne to make a comeback since she has a regular show, “Showtime”, where Kim Chiu has replaced her.
If and when Anne returns to the show, does it mean Kim will have to give way to her and make an exit?
As for Janella, someone tells us that she has already been contacted for a possible new teleserye, but we don’t know yet as to which network.
Before Markus knocked her up, she was being linked to Joshua Garcia when they were paired in “Killer Bride”.
Also said to be expecting hrr first child is Sophie Albert, sired by BF Vin Abrenica, but they have yet to confirm this although they admitted they're now living in the same house.
