SEN. BONG REVILLA is giving lots of prizes in his Facebook Live show this coming Saturday, May 1st to herald in the start of his new action-adventure program, “Agimat ng Agila”, that will start airing on May 1 at 7:15 PM.
Before that at 5 PM, he will hold his “Amazing Giveaways” in his own Facebook Live show.
He says: “Sama-sama nating salubungin ang paglipad ng ‘Agimat ng Agila’ sa pamamagitan ng mga biyaya at papremyo. Huwag magpahuli at tumutok sa ating Facebook Live ngayong May 1, 5:00 pm!
"Siguraduhing tumutok kasama ang buong pamilya para sama-sama nating mapanood ang unang paglipad ng ‘Agimat ng Agila’ sa GMA 7 pagkatapos ng ating ‘Amazing Giveaways’!”
Bong is grateful to GMA-7 for giving him the chance to make a comeback on TV.
“Bale five years na akong hindi nakaharap sa camera para umarte and I’m glad ‘Agimat ng Agila’ ang comeback vehicle ko dahil ginastusan talaga ito ng GMA at hindi tinipid,” he adds.
“Malalaki ang mga eksena at kinarir talaga ni Direk Rico Gutierrez ang action scenes at ang fantasy scenes na may state of the art special effects. I’m so proud of this well produced show.”
He prepared well long before the shoot.
“Physically, I trained for three hours each day. I did weights, running, cardio exercises plus muay thai, boxing and mixed martial arts, pati sa paggamit ng iba’t ibang weapons, kasi matagal din akong nabakante sa paggawa ng action scenes.
"Ayoko namang ma-disappoint ang viewers kaya ako mismo ang gumawa ng lahat ng stunts ko. Ayokong masabing kinalawang na ako. Sa lahat ng action scenes, ako yun mismo, what you see is what you get. Walang daya, walang double.”
In the story, Bong plays Major Gabriel Labrador, head of Task Force Kalikasan that aims to protect our environment from poachers and evildoers.
Also starring with him in “Agimat ng Agila” are Sanya Lopez, Sheryl Cruz, Elizabeth Oropesa, Allen Dizon, Edgar Allan Guzman, Roi Vinzon, Benjie Paras, Michelle Dee, Miggs Cuaderno and Ian Ignacio.
“Nagpapasalamat ako sa kanilang lahat dahil they are all very cooperative at naging very smooth ang lock in taping namin sa mountains of Tanay for the show,” he says.
“I’m also thankful to my leading lady, Sanya Lopez. Nang pinapanood namin ang first episodes ng show, we were all pleased kasi naging swak ang chemistry namin ni Sanya.
"We’re all happy that we have come up with a real crowd pleaser at tiyak na masisiyahan ang lahat ng manonood ng ‘Agimat ng Agila’.”
