This is beause GMA is giving him other kinds of role like in "Pepito Manaloto" and pairing him with not another actor but also with their leading ladies.
This Sunday (October 3), Kokoy de Santos is paired with Shaira Diaz and they are set to warm the hearts of TV viewers in this week’s episode of ‘Regal Studio Presents’ entitled ‘Ikaw si Ako, Ako si Ikaw.’
Marco (Kokoy de Santos) is a young, hotshot photographer who has a bad record when it comes to women. He is a certified womanizere who likes fooling around and is not keen on having a serious commitment.
Meanwhile, Janice (Shaira Diaz) is a struggling nursing student who supports herself to finish her education.
In her attempt to earn more than what she’s getting from her coffee shop job, she poses as a staff for a bogus charitable organization that scams people.
Marco and Janice will one day cross paths at a hotel and a strange and unexpected phenomenon will strike them.
Much to their shock and consternation, the two will find out that they have switched bodies, and they now face the problem of dealing with each other’s identity.
“Sobrang nakakatuwa ang episode na ito,” says Kokoy.
“Riot talaga na nagkapalit kami ng katawan ni Shaira. Siya ang naging lalaki at ako ang naging babae, leading to some very hilarious complications.”
How will they find a way to return to their own bodies and go back to their normal selves?
