DENNIS TRILLO has a bittersweet feeling with the ending of “Legal Wives” this Friday.
“Nakakalungkot kasi matatapos na, but we’re glad sa magandang reception ng viewers,” he says at the farewell presscon hosted by GMA for him and some cast members of the show.
“Salamat sa positive feedback ng mga tao. It warms our heart and we’re glad they enjoyed the show.”
He says “Legal Wives” is the one the most memorable shows he has ever done.
“Maraming mahihirap na eksena. We did it while on lock in taping. Marami ring Maranaw words na we have to deliver, buti may consultants kami on the set to help us.
"I also had to study my character closely kasi kakaiba si Ismael. First time kong nagkaroon ng tatlong asawa na from iba-ibang henerasyon.
"Kailangang paganahin namin ang chemistry namin with each other. Mami-miss ko ang magandang samahan namin. Nagawa ko ito dahil puro mahuhusay silang mga kasama ko.”
So what is his next project?
"As of now, pahinga muna ako. Inaalagaan ko muna si Jen. Quality time muna with the family. I’m just thankful na ang daming blessings na dumarating sa buhay ko.
"Busy rin ako editing the videos for our youtube channel. For my next project, gusto ko to do something light naman.
" Ayoko muna nung mabigat na kailangan akong umiyak na naman. But later on, I want to play a bad character, yung kamumuhian ako ng tao, for a change.”
What is one realization he got from doing “Legal Wives”?
“I learned we should respect the culture and traditions of other people, not only Muslims but basta lahat ng ibang mga tao. Kailangang respetuhin natin ang kanilang kapwa.”
What can he say now that John Lloyd Cruz has now officially signed up with GMA-7?
“I’m happy and excited that he’ is with us now. Welcome, John Lloyd.
"I just hope na sana balang araw, mabigyan ng chance na magkatrabaho kami. Puede akong magkontrabida sa kanya dahil gusto ko ng role na people will hate me.”
