ROB GUINTO is one of Vivamax’ new nymphets who has no qualms about taking her clothes off in front of the camera.
In her first movie, “Siklo”, she had an unabashed love scene with Andrew Muhlach while they’re on a staircase. Now, she will give another sexy performance in the new naughty sex-comedy, “Boy Bastos”, with Wilbert Ross.
Her real name is Robelyn Guinto and she was born in Malolos on January 9, 1996.
The second of three kids, she finished high school in Bulacan and was in first year college at Fatima when she had to stop to become their family’s breadwinner at the age of 17 as a model.
She worked for three months in Japan as a dancer. Then she became a social media influencer and vlogger and was the cover of the local Playboy Magazine.
She says she is single and is right now just so focused on her budding acting career. How far is she willing to go?
“Sa akin, okay lang kahit ano, anything,” she says. “Basta sa ikagaganda ng movie, ready ako. Walang problema sa akin.”
What’s her role in “Boy Bastos”?
“I play Selina, a student who works in a bar. May ganun naman talaga in real life. Mga estudyanteng nagtatrabaho sa isang bar para may pang-tuition. Doon ko mami-meet si Wilbert at ang barkada niya, sina Bob Jbeili and Andrew Muhlach.”
“Boy Bastos” deals with the curiosity of young people about the birds and the bees and the foolish things they get to do because of this. Has she experienced this in real life?
“Oh yes, noong high school ako. Nanonood kami ng friends ko nang palihim sa computer ng triple X films sa pornsite.
"Kasi curious kaming mapanood kung ano bang ginagawa nila, ano ang mga positions. Nakatulong naman, nadagdagan ang knowledge namin. Hahahaha!”
She’s using sexy roles as a stepping stone to gain fame. Ultimately, her goal is to be recognized as a competent actress.
“Marami namang nagsimula sa sexy roles pero kinilala sa pagiging magaling na aktres so sana, later on, mabigyan ako ng challenging roles para maipakita ko namang may talent din ako sa pag-arte.”
If ever, who would she like to be paired with? “Sa mga napanood ko na, I would like to work with JC Santos. Napanood ko ang movies niya, like ‘More Than Blue’, at ang galing niya talaga magdrama. Hindi pilit, walang effort.
"Gusto ko talaga ma-try na magdrama at sana siya ang makapareha ko kasi parang andami kong matututuhan from him. But in the meantime, panoorin nyo muna itong ‘Boy Bastos’ na pilyong comedy, streaming na sa Vivamax starting on February 18.”
