NEW VIVAMAX NYMPHET DENISE ESTEBAN shows in her first starring role, “Doblado”, that she can give reigning Vivamax sexpots like AJ Raval and Angeli Khang a run for their money.
She’s not just more than willing in the disrobing department but also proves that she can act well in her dramatic scenes with leading man Josef Elizalde and villain Mark Anthony Fernandez.
What is her hardest scene in the movie?
“Pinakamahirap yung rape scene with Mark Anthony Fernandez,” she says.
“Kabadong-kabado ako kasi sobrang binaboy niya ako. Mahirap gawin yung eksena as very sadistic yung character niya at bina-blackmail ako kasi hindi alam ng family ko sa probinsya na call girl ako dito sa Manila.
"Sinaktan niya akong mabuti kaya pasa-pasa ako at iyak ako nang iyak nang magsumbong kay Josef.”
She’s only 19 years old and we’re sure she will be bashed for her decision to do graphic sex scenes. How does she react to bashings?
“I told myself pagpasok ko rito that you cannot please everyone, so just ignore negative comments.
"Kapag alam kong bastos na message, I don’t open them at all. I don’t owe anyone an explanation.
"As far as I’m concerned hindi naman porn ang ginagawa namin. Alam naming we fake it lang, acting lang ang lahat.”
She says it’s so easy for people to judge them who do sexy flicks.
“Madali naman manghusga. Dati, wholesome ako, wala namang pumapansin sa akin.
"When friends saw my first movie, ‘Kaliwaan’. maraming nagtaka kung bakit ako nagpa-sexy kasi may nude scene ako roon.
"Nasaktan ako kasi yung mga malalapit pa sa’kin, sila pa ang hindi nakaintindi na I’m just doing a job as an actress.”
So does she have any regret about doing sexy scenes?
“None, I’m so happy to be with Viva. Before, I was singing and dancing with a P-Pop group pero nawalan kami ng trabaho due to the pandemic.
"When I joined Viva, kabado ako noong una but now, nakaka-proud lang na lead ako agad dito sa ‘Doblado’. Iniisip ko na lang na na-impress ko yata sila, kaya ginawa akong bida na agad.”
So how did she prepare for her role as a high class call girl?
“When I got the script, I checked the love scenes to see what will they require from me.
"Marami talagang bedscenes, so I watch a lot of sexy movies like ‘Prostie’, ‘Fifty Shades of Gray’ at iba pa.
"I noticed the actresses who do sexy scenes are really committed to their characters so yun ang una kong nilagay sa isip ko, na I’m just playing the character of Jaira in ‘Doblado’.
"In the movie, Jaira delivers a lot of lines na hindi ako masyadong familiar, like finding your G-spot and squirting when you reach your climax, but I think I got to say them all convincingly.”
Can she identify with her “Doblado” character, Jaira?
“Yes, kasi pareho kaming gagawin ang lahat para makatulong sa family namin. I’m just happy na my family is very supportive.
"Nagulat lang sila nung umpisa na maghuhubad ako, but after I explained na fake lang naman lahat ng bedscenes, naintindihan naman nila.
"And like Jaira, parang may double life din ako, kasi I can also hide my real emotions, lalo na kung galit ako o naiinis, hindi ko na lang pinapakita.
"But I hope this sexy phase is just a way for me to do more serious films. I really want to try all kinds of movies and explore all kinds of acting para ma-recognize naman ako as a good actress at hindi yung basta naghuhubad lang.”
