FIL-ITALIAN HUNK MARCO GALLO GOES SEXY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN LOVE SCENES WITH ROSE VAN GINKLE IN 'KITTY K7'

FIL-ITALIAN actor MARCO GALLO is happy to have a steady line of projects with Vivamax.

Aside from doing the series “Di Na Muli” with Julia Barretto, he also did films like “Gluta”, “Ang Manananggal na Nahahati ang Puso”, “Rooftop” and now, he plays the male lead in the sexy drama, “Kitty K7”, opposite Rose Van Ginkel who plays the title role.

“I play Krishna, a photographer,” he says. “I met Rose as Hanna and I took erotic photos of her. We end up in bed and this opens her wild side so she becomes a cam girl on the internet.”

Is he able to relate with his role?

“In a way yes, he’s kinda mysterious and like him, I don’t like to share my own thoughts with everybody.

"I also try not to get to attached to anyone. Krishna is afraid of commitment and from him, I learned that you should not be afraid of commitment.

"Ultimately, he grew and he made an important choice in the movie.   It shows that you just have to be confident with the choices you make.

"You don’t have to play it too safe all the time. You have to learn how to take risks sometimes.”

He has some graphic love scenes with Rose in the movie.

“This is the most daring movie I’ve done to date. I got offers then to go sexy, but I wasn’t ready yet.

"Now, it’s still kinda scary, but Rose and I did our best with the help of our director, Joy Aquino.

"It was hard because it’s the first time for me to do it and I have to do it well for the camera.”

The fact that he likes the film’s material helped him a lot.

“I really love the story. I honestly think this is one of the best stories I’ve worked on.

"I felt awkward at first, but I realized that your body becomes a part of the story and it’s not your body anymore. ‘Kitty K7’ is surely now one of my favorite films.”

He also takes his hat off to their director, Joy Aquino, and their producer, Dan Villegas.

“I saw how much preparation they did for the movie, so I was really inspired to collaborate and do everything they asked me to.

"I know now that you don’t have to be afraid of doing daring roles, as long as the material is really good and all the baring is essential to the story.”

How was it doing love scenes with Rose?

“She was uncomfortable at first because she’s five years older than me. She’s 25, but she kisses like she’s just 16, so I was joking and telling her I’d be her teacher.

"We pulled it off naman, but I’m still quite nervous because my mom is very conservative and I haven’t told her that I went sexy in this film. I just hope she’d understand it’s part of my job as an actor.”

Their director, Joy Aquino, is a UP cum laude graduate who  started as cinematographer.

When Viva asked Dan Villegas to do a sexy project, they thought of the story a popular cam girl, Salome Salvi, and they interviewed her.

They got Joy to be the director as they want it to be special and they thought it would be best to have a female director so her sensibilities will show the story from the point of view a woman.

“We think that cam girling is a job that should be respected,” says Dan. “Just like in Amsterdam where the prostitutes have rights and they pay taxes.

"Isa yun sa statement ng movie. We also show there’s a fine line between erotica and pornography. Hindi porke naghuhubad, it means bastos na.”

“Kitty K7” also features Dolly de Leon, the Pinay actress who was a big hit in the recent Cannes Filmfest because of her much acclaimed performance as Abigail in the award-winning satirical film, “Triangle of Sadness”.

Also in the film are Kier Legaspi, Debbie de Leon, Adrian Lindayag, Miggy Jimenez and Vivamax resident host Jean Kiley in an acting role as the best friend of Kitty K7 who gives her advice.
