CLOE BARRETO was introduced in Joel Lamangan’s “Silab” last year where the climax shows Cloe cutting off the sex organ of her leading man.
After that, she did an episode of the series “L” with Vince Rillon.
Now, she’s back in a lead role in “Tahan”, written by actress Quinn Carillo (who also plays a supporting role in “Tahan”) and directed by Bobby Bonifacio of such horror films as “Hospicio” and “Hellcome Home” and the Boys Love flick “My Lockdown Romance”.
“I’m very excited with ‘Tahan’ kasi first time ko to work with Ms. Jaclyn Jose, JC Santos and Direk Bobby,” says Cloe.
“First time ko rin to do a psycho-thriller. I play Elise, an escort girl na ibinubugaw ng sarili niyang ina named Nora, played by Ms. Jaclyn. The movie becomes a suspense-thriller when the men I go to bed with, isa-isang namamatay with my own mom as the killer.”
So how is it working with Jaclyn?
Sabi niya, huwag ka mahiya, then she kissed me on the forehead to relax me.
"Sobrang bait niya, so hindi na ako kinabahan doing scenes with her.
One valuable thing she learned from Jaclyn is how to handle the sex scenes.
"I also learned from Ms. Jaclyn the importance of being more open to your co-stars. This helps for you to have a good exchange ng ideas para mas mapaganda ang mga eksena ninyo.”
She also wants to thank leading man JC Santos and Direk Bobby.
“They’re all there to help me.
JC Santos plays Marcus, her childhood sweetheart who she meets again and they fall in love. But of course, her mom is against their romance.
"I’m very proud of this movie kasi hindi lang siya puro hubaran.
