CHRISTINE BERMAS and Jela Cuenca will join forces to set the screen on fire in Vivamax’ new sexy thriller, “Relyebo” that starts streaming on October 14.
“Nagkasama na kami before ni Jela sa ‘Island of Desire’ pero mas sexy at mas naglalagablab itong bago naming movie na ‘Relyebo’,” says Christine.
“I play Amor, isang saleslady na ka-live in Sean de Guzman as Jimmy, na isa namang security guard.
"Dahil sa gabi ang trabaho niya at sa araw naman ang trabaho ko, nagkikita lang kami sa umaga pagdating niya from work at bago naman ako umalis para sa trabaho ko.
"Okay naman kami pero napansin kong lately, parang may laging something na kakaiba sa kanya. Parang distracted siya.”
And the cause of Jimmy’s distraction is a seductive mysterious young lady who lives in the condominium where he works as a security guard.
This is Jela, who Jimmy secretly calls as Miss F, with F standing for Fantasy, as he constantly fantasizes about her.
“Maganda yung role ko kasi mahiwagang babae si Miss F,” says Jela. “Unlike other condo tenants na regular ang schedules ng pag-alis at pag-uwi, si Miss F, erratic ang schedule kaya naiintriga lalo si Jimmy.
"Ako naman, napansin ko agad na pinagpapantasiyahan niya ako and willing akong makipaglaro sa kanya.
"I invite him to my bed pero may matutuklasan siya about me and my work at ito ang siyang babago sa takbo ng buhay niya.”
The movie is produced by cult director Roman Perez Jr. and directed by Crisanto Aquino, who directs for “Regal Studio Presents” regularly.
He is best known for the movie “Write About Love” starring Rocco Nacino and Miles Ocampo that won many awards in the Metro-Manila Filmfest in 2019.
Supporting Christine and Jela in the movie are Jeric Raval, Lara Morena, Carlene Aguilar, Jeffrey Hidalgo and Juliana Segovia.
What does Sean de Guzman think is the message to viewers of the movie?
“Siguro, the message is dapat matutong kang makontento ka na with what you have,” he says. “Yung character ko kasi rito, hindi pa satisfied sa live in partner kong si Christine na mabait na, sexy pa, kaya naghanap pa ng iba.
"Nabo-bore kasi siya sa trabaho niya as security guard sa condo kaya ayun, nagpa-fantasize siya about yung sexy tenants na nakikita niyang dumaraan sa harapan niya.
"At yun, na-involve siya kay Jela without knowing na mapanganib pala ang babaeng ito at magdudulot ng kaguluhan sa buhay niya.”
