ROSE VAN GINKLE and Angela Morena are two of the leading ladies of playboy Wilbert Ross in “5 in 1, Patay Kang Manyak Ka”.
Rose plays Lexie and Angela plays Riley Red, and they both have no inkling that they are just two of the five girls of Wilbert as Dick with whom he is having simultaneous affairs.
Since the movie is about a “maniac”, have they ever experienced being victimized by a maniac?
“Yes, I’ve experienced it” says Rose Van. “Sa social media, when I see someone na binabastos, nagagalit ako.
"Pero kapag sa’yo na pala nangyari, sobrang kakabahan ka. Magba-black out ka.
"Sa sobrang kaba ko, wala akong nagawa, kaya umalis na lang ako. It’s a very unpleasant experience.”
“Ako rin, namanyak na ako,” says Angela. “That was three years ago. Wala pa ako sa showbiz.
"Someone molested me, pero nahuli namin yung lalaki and nagsampa ako ng kaso. Dahil doon, takot na talaga ako sa mga manyak at maingat ako.”
In real life, have they experienced having a boyfriend who is two timing them?
“No, I’ve never experienced it,” says Rose Van. “If I ever I’d do, siempre, hindi ako papayag. Hiwalay agad."
“Ako rin, hindi ko pa na-experienced,” says Angela. “Minsan pa lang naman ako nagka-boyfriend and if ever, hindi ko rin ito-tolerate. Break kami agad.”
What is the role they play in “5-in-1, Patay Kang Manyak Ka”?
“As Lexie, ako yung emo girl na girlfriend ni Wilbert,” says Rose Van.
“Loner ako, may pagka-suicidal kasi kulang ako sa pagmamahal ng family ko. But when I met Wilbert, naging positive effect niya sa akin.
"He made me realize na lahat naman, may pinagdaraanan, pero hindi tayo dapat magpakamatay just to solve our problems. Dapat maghanap ka ng paraang lutasin ang mga problema mo.”
“As Riley Red, ako yung girlfriend ni Wilbert na hindi good looking kasi mukha akong manang dito." says Angela.
"Negative ang tingin ko sa sarili ko. Masyadong mababa ang self confidence ko, but when I met Wilber as Dick, nagkaroon ng transformation sa buhay ko.
"Marami akong natutuhan sa kanya to improve myself at malaki ang impact ng naging pagtulong ni Dick sa buhay ko.”
Both Rose Van and Angeli say that Wilbert may be a womanizer in the story but he somehow helped improve the lives of the girls he gets involved with.
“5-in-1, Patay Kang Manyak Ka” will start streaming on Vivamax on September 23.
