MIGGY JIMENEZ is a former child star who hosted the kiddie show, “Tropang Potchi”, on GMA-7 for several years with Bianca Umali and Lianne Valentin who now have their own successful solo acting careers.

They even won then as best children’s show hosts in the Star Awards.

As a child actor, Miggy starred in the action TV series “Panday Kids” in 2010 and in the horror movie “Patient X” with Richard Gutierrez.

We haven’t seen him for a while, then we were surprised when we saw him in “Gameboys” where he played the role of Wesley, Elijah Canlas’ friend who made Kokoy de Santos jealous.

He’d later get his own love interest in Kyle Velino and they were also part of “Gameboys, The Movie” and “Gameboy 2”.

In Vivamax’ “Kitty K-7”, he played Rose Van Ginkle’s villainous boyfriend and now, he stars in the BL movie, “Two and One”, produced by Ideafirst Company of Perci Intalan for Vivamax, written by Ash Malanum and directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal.

In “Two and One”, Miggy plays Tino, a damaged individual who finds it difficult to maintain a good relationship due to his problematic past.

He’s gay but you won’t really suspect as he is so straight acting and does not swish at all.

He falls for Paolo Pangilinan as Christian but they both don’t do anal sex, so they try to find another partner who’d agree to hop into bed with them and do everything they want. They find one in Cedrick Juan as Joaquin.

Their bedscenes are really so graphic that they leave little to the imagination. How did Miggy feel after watching the full movie in the press screening?

“I was shocked,” he says. “I didn’t realize the scenes we did are that daring.

"But the movie is good and I’m proud of it. The audience applauded after the screening and it feels nice that I’m part of such a crowd-pleasing movie.”

Miggy is all out in kissing and making out with both Paolo and Cedric you’d think he’s really gay.

But to put the record straight, he says he has a girlfriend who he has informed beforehand about how daring and aggressive his role is in “Two and One”.

“Honestly, I had hesitations when I was told what I’d do in my role as Tino,” he says.

“But it’s a good role and I’m an actor, so I felt that I should be ready to do whatever is asked of me by our director, Ivan Payawal, who I’ve learned to trust since he’s also our director in ‘Gameboy’, the both the TV series and its movie version.

"I also have to thank my two co-actors. Before each scene would start, we would huddle and discuss what we’ll be doing and our director supported us totally.”

So how did his girlfriend react when he told her about his bold scenes in “Two and One”?

“It’s not only her that I informed about it but also my mother,” he says.

“I have to enlighten them both about my role, the project itself, and what was expected from me.

"I really sat down and talked things with them. Kasi I felt it would really help if I have their support.”

He found it easier to explain his role to his girlfriend than to his mother.

“My mom was more challenging, kasi she wasn’t really ready. She came with me to the press screening but she left before the bedscenes started.

"I can feel her support naman but I have to respect her decision. When she’s fully ready, then I’d want to watch it with her.”

“Two and One” is a love story about tortured relationships viewers of all sexual persuasions would be able to relate with. It’s now streaming on Vivamax Plus.
