GRETCHEN FULLIDO LEADS STARS OF PIE (PINOY INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT) CHANNEL THAT OFFERS ALTERNATIVE SHOWS

 






































































GRETCHEN FULLIDO has been anchoring the showbiz news segment of “TV Patrol” for 12 years now.  


She says she always has to be formal and serious in doing her work there. 


But now, as one of the hosts in the PIE Channel’s Barangay PIE Silog, she is allowed to show her true perky and bubbly self. 


“I’m really enjoying being part of this show,” she says. 


“I’m having fun with my co-hosts as we do PIE Silog that is the lifestyle and public service block of the PIE Channel.”


And what is the PIE Channel? It offers alternative shows from what we usually see on free TV and cable channels. 


PIE stands for Pinoy Interactive Entertainment, a free TV channel co-owned by ABS-CBN, Kroma Entertainment and 917 Ventures in partnership with Broadcast Enterprises and Affiliated Media. 


The multi-platform interactive channel offers entertainment programs for games, talk and variety shows mixed with real-time interaction format that can be viewed on any device. 


It broadcasts nationwide on television via digital terrestrial through BEAM TV on its flagship station Channel 31, cable and satellite providers, as well as worldwide via online through PIE's YouTube channel, its official website and GCash's GLife. 


It operates daily from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.


These are its current programming blocks:  


“Barangay PIE Silog” – the channel's lifestyle and public service block. It airs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon hosted by Migs Bustos (for Barangay PIE Silog Sunday), Frances Cabatuando (Mayora), Nicole Cordoves (for Barangay PIE Silog Sunday), Gretchen Fullido, Daisy Lopez aka Madam Inutz (for Barangay PIE Silog Sunday), Omar Punzalan, Tristan Ramirez, Abby Trinidad (formerly from Barangay PIE).


“PIE Borito” – the channel's anthology, drama, romance and music block. It airs from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. with replays from 8:15 to 9:00pm on weekdays, and 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on weekends.


“PIE Galingan” – the channel's unique talent variety block. Since September 12, 2022, it currently airs from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays.


:PIEnalo: Pinoy Games” – the channel's instant wins and recognition block. Since September 12, 2022, it currently airs from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m. on weekdays and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on weekends.


“PIE Night Long” – the channel's talk, narrative and music block. Since September 12, 2022, it currently airs from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays.
