THE PIE CHANNEL had its second presscon for its next batch of stars who host their game shows block: PIEGALINGAN, PAK PALONG FOLLOW and PIENALO PINOY GAMES.
The show “Pie Galingan” is a talent search and its hosts, called Pie Jocks, is led by Anji Salvacion, the Big Winner of PBB Season 10.
Her full name is Angie Kristine Salvacion Gorbulev. She has a Pinay mom and a Russian dad who met in Siargao, where she was born.
She just turned 20 on September 24. She sings well and was formerly a contestant in “Idol Philippines 2019”.
She has sang the theme songs for shows like “Marry Me, Marry You”, “Sunset Girl” and “Unloving You”. She also has an extended play album, “Kasing Kasing Dalamasigan”.
She appreciates being a host in “Pie Galingan”.
“I’m grateful to be given the chance to showcase my talent in this show and it also helps me to improve my Tagalog,” she says.

Eris Zaragoza - First runner up in the Bidaman contest of “Showtime” which he says helped him a lot. “Naging training ground ko yun at doon ako parang nabuo,” he says. “I’m glad na nandito pa rin ako and may project with Pie Channel after I auditioned with the other Pie Jocks.”
Most of his Bidaman colleagues have gone sexy and did Boys Love movies. Would he be willing to try this also? “Pag-iisipan ko munang mabuti ng 100 times. Mas gusto ko sanang wholesome ako para maiba naman.”
Sam Bernardo - She’s Miss Grand Philippines 2020 and has since then been mentoring other beauty pageant candidates.
“I still do personality development for future beauty queens but now, I’m pursuing showbiz and doing hosting,” she says.
“I’m glad that in Pie Galingan, I can show my talents na hindi ko naipakita noon sa beauty pageant. I auditioned sa PIE and then joined their boot camp as part of our training.
"I’m happy that our show, “Pie Galingan”, tumutulong na matupad ang pangarap ng mga gustong pumasok sa showbiz.”
Ralph Malibunas - He was born and raised in Paris, France and then joined PBB Connect.
He has since tried acting in shows like “Connected” and “Pasabuy”. He auditioned at Pie Channel by sending his video then he was made to join their boot camp with the other Pie Jocks.
For the show “Pak Palong Follow”, the Pie Jocks are:
Reign Parani - She hails from Canada and was part of PBB Season 8. She has since appeared in shows like “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and “Sleep with Me”. She didn’t audition for Pie Galingan. “I think I was chosen because of my personality”, she says.
Gello Marquez - He was discovered as a singer in “Idol Philippines”.
“I then discovered kaya ko rin pala ang acting and I was included in ‘He’s Into Her’,” he says. “Now, I also want to explore dancing kasi hindi ako nakakasabay sa mga kasama ko sa Pie Galingan kapag may dance challenge.”
Jeremy Glinoga - Also a singer discovered in “The Voice Teens”. He now has a new single, “Sinayang Mo”. “It’s a song for your ex, telling him or her na, look at me now, ito ang sinayang mo,” he says.
The Pie Galingan Extra Ordinaryo competition will have its finals this week and the six finalists were also introduced to the press:
Mustafa (Ang Ekstrang Action Dad ng Tarlac), Popsy (Ang Ekstrang TikTokerist ng Tarlac), Juan (Ang Ekstrang Future Direktor ng Manila),
Neo (Ang Ekstrang Dreamboy ng Manila), Rinoa (Ang Ekstrang Prinsesa ng Pamilya ng Cavite), and Minnie (Ang Ekstrang Adventurer ng La Union). Find out who will win this Friday!

Kevin Montillano (a singer at the Miss Universe PH 2020), Ruth Paga (from Star Hunt), Eian Rances (from PBB), comedians Nonong Ballinan and Negi from Monday to Saturday.
On Sunday, the hosts are Kid Yambao (from Hashtag of Showtime), Inah Evans (from “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?”), Patsy Reyes (host of “Sinong Manok Mo”? and Jackie Gonzaga (Ate Gurl from Showtime).
Certified fun Pinoy games where viewers nationwide can join in virtually and win up to P50,000 daily, will take center stage in PIENALO PINOY GAMES.
From Monday until Friday, there’s “Matching Matching” (7 pm – 8 pm), a matching card game inspired by ungguy-ungguyan and “Dagdag Bawas” (6 pm – 7 pm), an interactive game that involves estimation as Filipinos are naturally good at being ‘tantyadors.’
On Saturdays, the fun and jackpot prize doubles to P100,000 with “PoB Sana All!” (6 pm – 8 pm), the interactive comeback of the iconic ABS-CBN game show “Pera o Bayong.”
Meanwhile on Sundays, viewers can catch “Sino’ng Manok Mo?” (6 pm – 8 pm), where viewers place their bets on guest celebrities who will play games and 100 of them get a chance to win cash prizes.
