Kapamilya Supreme Actress Lovi Poe will now be seen on Primetime Bida starting this Monday, November 7, with the telecast of her highly acclaimed series, “Flower of Evil”.
The series was first successfully aired on Viu channel and Lovi received glowing reviews for portraying Iris Castillo-del Rosario in the Philippine adaptation of the Korean hit show.
The series was Lovi’s first series for the Kapamilya network.
It also marks Lovi’s first entry in the suspense - mystery and action genre.
“At least for the duration of this series I got to fulfill my dream of being an Action Queen”, says Lovi.
Lovi could not forget the fact that the people on the set started calling her “LPJ” or “DA Queen” in reference to her father, FPJ.
“I really enjoyed having that illusion, even if it was just the duration of the taping of the series”, the actress jokingly declares.
As a fearless and dedicated police detective, Lovi was required to do a lot of stunts in the action sequences, fight scenes, chase scenes, and instead of a handbag or a purse, her accessory this time was a hand gun.
“I’m really proud of our show, and I hope that the television viewers will love it as well. I am truly grateful for having the best production staff, directors and a wonderful cast”, admits Lovi.
“I truly loved working with all my co actors in the show because they were all extremely dedicated to the project. Piolo Pascual, my leading man, who did his best and was very supportive and encouraging, and so were Paulo Avelino who delivered a great performance as the root of all evil, the same goes for the rest of my co-stars.”
Lovi will return from the US soon where she shows another side of her personality with her musical skills to our fellow kababayans abroad, as she takes part in “Asap NatinTo” at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Don't miss “Flower of Evil” on Primetime Bida starts this Monday, November 7, 9:30 PM at the Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney Tv, A2Z and TV 5.
The suspenseful and totally engrossing series also stars JC De Vera, Denise Laurel, Agot Isidro, Joem Bascon, Joross Gamboa, Rita Avila, Jett Pangan and Edu Manzano.
