THE REASON WHY MOVIEGOERS NO LONGER WATCH MOVIES IN ACTUAL THEATERS LIKE THEY USED TO

MOST SEATS IN MOVIE THEATERS ARE EMPTY! WHERE ARE THE VIEWERS????

WHEN WE watched "Black Adam" at SM North, we were surprised as there were such long long lines of viewers lining up in the ticket booth.

It’s good we’re a senior citizen so we were given special priority.

"

It turns out that the majority of people lining up for tickets were not watching "Black Adam" at IMAX like we did, as it’s almost P600 per person.

They are watching the various horror flicks offered by SM Cinemas as a special Halloween presentation at a very much discounted price of only P150 per person.

Some viewers are even getting tickets to two movies no less, like they’re watching a double program.

This shows that the price factor is really a big reason why viewers are no longer flocking to theaters like they used to.

Ticket prices now range from P300 to P500, which is definitely beyond the range of a regular wage earner’s buying capacity.

Of course, they’d rather use that amount to buy rice and other goodies that will put food on their table.

In the U.S., they’ve offered special sale for movie tickets to entice audiences to return to cinemas and looks like it’s working for them.

So that should be a cue to our producers and theater owners if they want local moviegoers to watch movies again in actual theaters.
