VIVAMAX HOT DRAMA 'AN AFFAIR TO FORGET' HAS AN INCESTUOUS TWIST THAT WILL SURELY SHOCK EVEN THE MOST JADED VIEWERS

'AN AFFAIR TO FORGET' is a real shocker.  We're all familiar with "An Affair to Remember', but this one is really something else.

We've seen all sorts of incest films in Vivamax releases.

We were shocked when the ending of 'Selina's Gold' revealed that Angeli Khang, who Jay Manalo has been raping repeatedly and subjecting to all sorts of indignities, turns out to be his own daughter.

We were also shocked by "Pamasahe" when it was revealed that Azi Acosta gave birth to a baby whose dad is her very own brother,\ Felix Roco, and she was even the one who seduced him.

But the incest angle in "An Affair to Forget:" would shock you even more. Of course, we won't reveal what is the big twist revealed in the film's climactic ending. You have to watch it for yourself to find out.

Suffice it to say that Susnshine Cruz is truly outstanding in the movie which is, now streaming on Vivamax.  Sunshine was never considered a truly skilled actress during her younger days in RAegal and Viva.

We first noticed Sunshine's much improved acting in the GMA series, "Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune", where she was able to hold her own against the award-winning Maricel Laxa.

Sunshine's role in "An Affair to Forget" is very challenging as a topnotch lawyer whose husband, Allen DIzon, a painter, is somewhat intimidated by her huge success in her profession.

She is really convincing as a wife and mother who's honestly concerned why her husband and son are both distant to her.

She's credible as a much respected lawyer and she excels in all her dramatic scenes, but Allen as her husband also shines in their confrontation scene.

Karl Aquino plays their son who is alienated from Sunshine for being a controlling mom. He is the one who provides the nude bedscenes with two partners.

If he intends to do more such scenes, we advise him to go to the gym and beef himself so he'd have the same good physical shape as the other Vivamax studs who have no qualms about disrobing before the camera.

Angelica Cervantes plays the good time girl Sunshine hires to prove that her husband is cheating on her.

She is very effective in her very daring role which is quite challenging for a newcomer like her, but she's able to fulfill all its requirements.

Angelica eventually gets to make tuhog, Allen, Karl and even Sunshine. In other words, tinuhog niya ang buong pamilya.

You may or may not agree with how the complicated narrative is resolved, which mirrors the ending of "My Father, Myself" where killing one's self proved to be the chosen way out of characters who are mired in a messy predicament.

Both films also have a seemingly forced happy ending.

But the film's production  values are very classy, one of Louie Ignacio's better crafted works and the storytelling is very smooth, even the flashback scenes that are woven well into the story.
