Meantime, Barbie’s hit primetime drama series, “Maria Clara at Ibarra” is on its last week and Klay has succeeded in going back to the past.
It will be recalled she has returned to modern times but she made an effort to be reunited with David Licauco as Fidel in “Maria Clara at Ibarra”.
Barbie’s intention is to help rescue her friends so that they would not meet their sad endings which she has already read in “El Filibusterismo”.
This time, she goes back in time fully prepared in her second journey to Spanish time in this well received GMA-7 historical fantasy-drama, well directed by Zig Dulay.
She brings with her some items from the present times, like a cellphone, a first aid kid, cans of sardines, toiletries, a flashlight and some undies as she has found out in her “Noli Me Tangere” jaunt that women during the olden did not wear any panties.
“Yes, the show is very exciting now that Book One is about to end,” adds Barbie.
“Nakakatuwa nga kasi sobrang concerned ang mga fans kay Klay. Nakakatawa yung ibang comments nila, like nagdala ka nga ng cellphone, pero may dala ka bang charger?
"That means ganoon sila ka-involved kay Klay at sa iba pang characters sa aming drama-series.”
Don’t miss the final episode of “Maria Clara at Ibarra” on February 17.
