RURU MADRID is happy to renew his contract as Beautederm endorser with real life inamorata, Bianca Umali.
At the launch, Bianca was absent as she’s taping Boy Abunda’s interview with her for “Fast Talk”.
Also present at the launch were Rayver Cruz, Cassy Legaspi and Sanya Lopez, plus the five new Sparkle artists: EA Guzman, Buboy Villar, Thia Thomalia, Patricia Tumulak and Isabel Ortega.
Ruru and Bianca now topbill their own new show, “The Write One”, a romantic drama with a touch of fantasy co-starring Mikee Quintos and Paul Salas.
This is produced by GMA Public Affairs, directed by Mark Baco and will start airing on March 20 in GMA Telebabad on primetime.
Ruru admits he used to be a womanizer but it’s not a thing of the past as he swears he is very faithful to Bianca. Is it true he’s now having their dream house constructed?
“I’m having one built now but it’s for my parents and siblings,” he says.
“Kapag natapos na yun, then I’ll have one built for my own family.”
With Bianca?
“Hopefully, yes, with her. Ayokong mawala pa siya sa buhay ko.”
Ruru feels happy and blessed to be a Beautederm endorser.
“It’s nice to be part of the Beautederm family of brand ambassadors kasi napakabait ng CEO na si Ms. Rhea Anicoche-Tan,” he says.
“She’s very caring sa aming endorsers niya and I really enjoy using Beautederm products to help me maintain my smooth skin and good health.”
He and Bianca are guest co-hosts in “Eat Bulaga”. How does he feel about the news that there will be a big revamp that will out Tito, Vic & Joey?
“I just heard about kasi we haven’t done ‘Eat Bulaga’ lately kasi busy kami sa taping ng ‘The Write One’.
"But I feel na ‘Eat Bulaga’ will not be the same without TVJ. Bata pa ako, napapanood ko na sila roon and they’re really a part of the show.”
Regarding Bianca, in Boy Abunda’s interview with her, she was asked if it’s true she tried to hit Ruru with her car when they once had a quarrel at the Megamall parking lot.
“There was an incident but it was greatly exaggerated,” says Bianca. “But I didn’t bother to clear it up and just let it be.”
She admits she got jealous and they broke up after that, but eventually reconciled.
“Hindi naman ako magseselos ng wala sa lugar. But he did everything to save our relationship and win me back.
"He said let’s start again and I forgave him.”
As for Ms. Rhea Tan, she’s thankful Ruru, Bianca and all the other Sparkle stars she introduced in the launch are with her.
“Five years na ang partnership ko with Sparkle and I’m satisfied with their artists who represent our brand well with their talents, their beauty inside and out,” she says.
“I never had any problem with them. For me, beauty goes beyond the physical. It is reflected in one’s soul.
"The intention of Beautéderm is not just to make people beautiful and glowing, but to extend hands to those in need, through the support and success of our resellers, distributors, and franchisees.”
At the launch, a special video was shown featuring the scholars being sent to college by Beautederm and they have nothing but gratitude for Ms. Rhea Tan.
“What you do to help your community makes you beautiful,” adds Ms Rhea.
“Recently, some of our scholars graduated with honors and that makes me extremely proud and happy — that is the real measure of success — the number of hearts you’ve touched and the lives you have improved.”
No wonder the generous Ms. Rhea and Beautederm continue to receive abundant blessings from our Lord.
