HEAVEN PERALEJO ADMITS HER LOVE TEAM WITH MARCO GALLO HAS BOOSTED THEIR SHOWBIZ CAREERS!!!!

HEAVEN PERALEJO admits that her love team with Marco Gallo has surely helped in boosting their showbiz careers.

"Because of the success of their Viva One series, “The Rain in Espana”, they’re now touted as the break out love team of 2023 with so many loyal fans.

After the James Reid-Nadine Lustre tandem fizzled out because of their own shenanigans, looks like Viva has now come up with another bankable love team in the MarVen (Marco-Heaven) team up.

They are paired anew in the movie, “The Ship Show”, an endearing romcom, and this will be a test for them if they’ll also be successful on the big screen, just like with their hit series via streaming on Viva One.

“Well, we’re praying na sana, lahat ng nasiyahan sa panonood sa amin ng ‘The Rain in Espana’, manood din nitong ‘The Ship Show’ kasi movie naman ito,” says Heaven.

“Sobrang laking tulong talaga ang ‘The Rain’ kasi mas dumami talaga ang supporters namin ni Marco after maipakita namin ang kakayahan namin doon in our roles as Luna and Calix.

"Puro positive ang feedback sa amin at sa show kaya tuwang-tuwa kaming basahin ang comments ng viewers who are really rooting for us.”

So how is ‘The Ship Show’ different from ‘The Rain’?

“I play Chia and Marco plays Araw. Magiging contestants kami sa isang reality search called ‘The Ship Show’.

"Bukod sa amin, there are other five other love teams being introduced by Viva in the movie kaya mas matindi ang kilig factor nito.

"We’re sure viewers will choose kung sino ang favorites nila para manalo sa reality show in the movie, which is written and directed by JP Laxamana.”

She says the movie reminded her and Marco of how they originally met.

“Sa isang reality show din kami unang nagkakilala, sa PBB. May dance number kami noon doon and now, may dance number din kami rito sa movie. Sobrang bata pa namin that time and now, we’re both a bit more mature and more experienced in life.”

Is it true they got much closer while shooting ‘The Ship Show’?

“Yes, mas naging close kami talaga kasi nagtutulungan kami sa mga eksena. There was a difficult scene na nahihirapan siya and I helped him para maitawid namin yun. We became really more comfortable with each other. Alam na nga niya pati mood swings ko and he’s very understanding.”

But such closeness doesn’t mean that they’re already in a romantic relationship.

“Hindi naman kailangang madaliin,” she adds. “And if ever kung maging kami talaga, I’d prefer that we just keep it to ourselves. Sasarilinin na lang muna namin.”

She also adds that both she and Marco will not be exclusively working with each other.

“We’re a team, but we still also have our own solo careers, which is more healthy than kung masyado identified lang kayo sa isa’t isa.

"And hopefully, people will continue to support us in our projects as a love team and also when we have solo projects.

"Meantime, abangan muna nila itong ‘The Ship Show’ which will be shown in cinemas nationwide on August 9.”
