THE BIG POWERHOUSE CAST OF 'BLACK RIDER' HEADED BY RURU MADRID
FOR THE LAST HALF of 2023, GMA Network has prepared an amazing list of new drama shows to enthrall Kapuso viewers.
We’ll list them all out here but first, here are two of the compelling teleseryes that you should watch out for.
“THE MISSING HUSBAND” - This is a family suspense drama that is full of so many surprising twists and turns, with Mark Reyes of “Voltes V Legacy” as the director.
It stars Rocco Nacino in the title role of the husband who disappears, with Yasmien Kurdi as his worried wife.
The show is also the comeback vehicle for Nadine Samonte, Yasmien’s batchmate in Starstruck 1 who is now married with three children.
Also in its big cast are Jak Roberto, Sophie Albert, Max Eigenmann, Michael Flores, Joross Gamboa, Shamaine Buencamino, Bryce Eusebio and Cai Cortez.
The story is about a couple that became the victim of a ghastly pyramid scam.
Rocco as Anton and Yasmien as Millie play college sweethearts who later get married and get to face a lot of problems as husband and wife.
“I’m excited to have our show seen by viewers as it offers lots of lessons to people to be more careful para hindi sila maging victim ng scams,” says Rocco.
“I interviewed some scam victims as part of my research for my character at talagang horror stories ang nangyari sa kanila. Nakakaiyak and we have their experiences won’t happen again to anyone.”
“BLACK RIDER” - This is a hardhitting action drama series starring Ruru Madrid who GMA is really building up as a young action star.
It was earlier announced that Ruru will do a sequel to his previous hit, “Lolong”, but apparently, this has been scrapped to give way to “Black Rider”.
Ruru is given a huge supporting cast.
His leading lady is Kylie Padilla and they are supported by Mateo Guidicelli (his first series since he moved to GMA), Katrina Halil, Gladys Reyes, Rio Locsin, Zoren Legaspi, Raymart Santiago and Raymond Bagatsing.
Also in the cast are Gary Estrada, Empoy Marquez, Joem Bascon, Rainier Castillo, Janus del Prado, Almira Muhlach, Vance Larena, Aleck Bovick, Salome Salvi, Ashley Sarmiento, Jon Lucas, Marco Masa, Saviour Ramos, Prince Clemente, Dustin Yu, Jayson Gainza, Luis Hontiveros, Joaquin Manansala and Kim Perez.
This is directed by Monti Parungao.
