FEARLESS GMA CRIME REPORTER JOHN CONSULTA HOSTS HIS OWN SHOW, 'PINOY CRIME STORIES, STARTS AIRING THIS SATURDAY, 4:45 PM

JOHN CONSULTA is a dependable name to reckon with in the field of crime reporting.

He started as a field reporter in “24 Oras”.

He was assigned with the police beat and he coordinated with various law-enforcement agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and Bureau of Immigration.

His fearless disposition in delivering news and special reports for the past 15 years has enabled him to make ground-breaking and reliable investigative reports.

He is one of the hosts of GMA’s flagship documentary program I-Witness and one of GMA Integrated News’ senior correspondents.

Now, John Consulta embarks on a new, very challenging mission as the host of GMA Network’s newest true-crime anthology program Pinoy Crime Stories, which airs every Saturday, 4:45 p.m. beginning this September 16.

Produced by the award-winning team of GMA Public Affairs, “Pinoy Crime Stories” features the most gripping and compelling crimes in the country, such as online crimes, slavery, murders, robberies, human trafficking, kidnapping, abductions, rapes, and many more.

“Dito sa ‘Pinoy Crime Stories’, tututukan natin ang bawat kaso,” says John, who is a UP Los Banos graduate and married to Kapuso reporter Monikka Atienza.

In “Pinoy Crime Stories”, John exposes the truth behind the most engrossing and controversial crimes in the country.

He follows the investigation of each case, traces the important details, and points out the results of the authorities’ examination of crucial pieces of evidence that help solve the case.

For its pilot episode, “Pinoy Crime Stories” will present the intriguing murder case of an 85-year-old woman who was found dead in her home in Paranaque last month.

Her male helper was initially declared as a ”person of interest,” which placed him behind bars for one month, but was later discovered innocent upon the admission of two other female suspects with one of them even confessing her involvement in the crime to John Consulta himself.

Catch “Pinoy Crime Stories” every Saturday beginning September 16, at 4:45 pm on GMA with a simulcast on Pinoy Hits.

Viewers may also watch the livestream on GMA Public Affairs’ YouTube channel and Facebook page, and GMA Network and GMA Public Affairs TikTok account.

Global Pinoys can watch it via GMA international channel GMA Pinoy TV.
